In last year's April issue and January issue, we took a look at transnational musical collaborations between Western artistes of color and their Asian counterparts.

This month, we take a more local approach and highlight a few American bands and artistes whose collaborations extended across ethnic lines. Genres covered include hip hop, electronica, pop, rock and rap.
